I have a few things to catch up on since I got home and posting a picture of the SSCS gift I received from Bev is one of them. I wasn't at home for Christmas so I had to open my gift on Christmas Eve, not too long before I left for the airport. I managed to have just enough time to email Bev, to thank her, before I had to leave. I received this fabulous table topper and I just love it, Bev, the design, the fabric, the quilting..it was such a lovely surprise package to open.
I was sending a parcel to Peg and this is what I sent to her..
I saw in a photo on her blog that she had a cupcake runner and a mini quilt frame, so I made a mini quilt with teacups, teapot etc and the saying...Coffee or a pot of tea, please sit and share a cup with me..I included a copy of the new Zealand Quilter magazine and a piece of fabric with Pohutakawa flowers on it (since it flowers at Christmas time it is also known as the New Zealand Christmas tree in some places.)
It was a great swap to be in again this year and Chookyblue very generously organised it for us.
Phew...I just pushed a button and thought I'd lost this post...lucky for me it was still there somewhere..
Have a great week and enjoy your stitching.
