Well...Yes... it did snow overnight..

Just as was forecast we woke to snow this morning (it's not always quite so accurate) and my little car is not going anywhere..schools are closed for the day and I have the day at home..warm inside..yippee!!

Snow on the ground, snow on the plants and the dogs have been enjoying the snow..they just love to run and roll in it, even the coil of the hose was covered

the dog's have had a good romp in the snow and now it is coming down again..

A pot of soup is on the stove and now all I have to think about is what to work on for the rest of the day..so many projects on the go that need my attention..

  1. Looks lovely Lyn but I feel cheated. We didn't get any here in Christchurch. Perfect opportunity for you to enjoy a stitchy kind of day.

  2. Wow Lyn, that is a good amount, and with schools closed, a lovely day inside. I looked at the closures around Dunedin, and think maybe not even one was open, apart from Otago University ( or so I heard on the news this a.m. ). Maybe they reason that all students live close enough to walk or ski in. Lovely photos, and your dog is gorgeous. Stitch to your heart's delight. Cheers, Jean.

  3. How exciting for you. I've never seen snow like that. Looks like it will be a perfect day for some sewing by the fire.
