The sun must be there somewhere...

Last day of the term was on Friday and since then it has been wet and miserable here..(though no where near as bad as further north)..it is supposed to last until this Friday..yuk...not very nice for the first week of the school holidays for anyone with young children.....looking out the window the misty rain is fairly low down and I can barely see the cars coming down the hill even with their lights on at 1pm in the afternoon..I've read the paper and a new magazine..spoken to my daughter in Edinburgh..so  some lunch first and then maybe put the heat pump on and decide what to work on for the afternoon..

  1. Misty rain, you must be getting more than we have up here, and thankfully way less than Nelson and Bay Of Plenty. Hols, good time to rest up from the morning rush, packed lunch, homework worries, enjoy before winter sets in. Cheers from Jean

  3. At least you dont need to feel guilty about staying indoors and stitching etc. Not much chance of doing things outdoors. I hope you get some fine days for the holidays though. The children in your area will be wanting to be able to get outside. Hope your daughter is enjoying her time in Edinburgh.
