My Friday Night Sewing

The blocks for a Christmas quilt have been hiding away for too long now...so I need to get it finished this year....when I was looking for some things to do last night, out of the box came this one..the stitching on its borders needed finishing off..so now it is back into the box until I finish the last couple of blocks...
I think I need to get around to making a block keeper... I have been going to do for so long now..this one had been folded..not good..
After the stitching I did another round or two on the crochet rug that is also coming towards the end.. just the thing to finish on as it didn't require too much concentration!

  4. I sometimes hang unfinished stitcheries from a skirt hanger, I've found if I leave them inside a block keeper I forget about them, whereas if they are hanging up where I can see them it jogs my memory (or makes me feel guilty) love the variegated thread, nice colour way.
